Mechanical Timers

Mechanical thermostats are a type of thermostat that include physical components (such as a metal strip or bimetallic element) to regulate the temperature in a room or building. They're simpler to operate than digital or smart thermostats as they include basic features, such as a dial or slider where you set your desired heating temperature. Plus, they don't have a complex interface, as you just turn a dial or slide a switch to set your temperature. They usually work by activating the central heating control system when the temperature reaches below what you've set.
