An outside temperature sensor is a device hat measures the temperature outside a building and is commonly used in heating, ventilation and air conditioning systems. The primary role of an outside temperature sensor is to monitor the air temperature outside by detecting the thermal energy in the surrounding air. Built for external use, these then send a signal to a boiler control system to adjust the heating controls.
