The Polyplumb system is suitable for use in hot and cold water supply as well as radiator central heating systems. The system is suitable for use in working applications up to 12 bar/20°C (6 Bar/90°C)
British Gas has granted the Polypipe 'Polyplumb' class S polybutylene pipe system acceptable for open vented and sealed central heating systems.
Polyplumb polybutylene barrier pipe, fittings and accessories are fully certified by the British Board of Agreement, approved by the Water Regulations Advisory Scheme, and are Kitemarked to BS7291, Parts 1 and 2.
The Polyplumb system is not suitable for the transportation of gases.
