Worcester Bosch Flow 8500 50 Indirect Heat Interface Unit Overview

The Worcester Bosch Flow 8500 40 indirect heat interface unit provides heating energy and hot water in buildings supplied by district heating or central heating systems.

Frost protection

Receive frost protection when the temperature at the flow temperature sensor for the heating reaches below 5°C, which then activates the control valve to open the heating.

Heating mode

The control valve for the domestic hot water remains closed until this is required via the domestic hot water function). The heating control valve modulates based on the required heating capacity, and the flow temperature remains the same, corresponding to the primary circuit's temperature flow.

Summer bypass function 

This function bypasses the lengthy heating-up period of the primary circuit's pipework, which happens when the heat interface unit has remained inactive for a long period. The summer bypass function helps to reduce the domestic hot water heating waiting times, and the heat exchanger isn't kept warm continuously, making it energy- and cost-efficient.
